Friday friday friday
So...today was a run-of-the mill Friday you could say. Other than the fact that it is MY DAD'S BIRTHDAY!!!! I love my dad. We are quite tight. Tight is right. Tight like unto a dish. Yeah, we're just cool that way. My dad is just an all-around great guy. He is humble and serious when it comes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but playful and fun when it comes to normal life. He is one of my personal heroes and someone I look up to and seek out for counsel quite often. My dad is one of my best friends. He has counseled me more on life topics than anyone else I can think of. In my hardest times, I have gone to him for strength to get through things. He is a constant support in my life and sets a benchmark for me to reach when it comes to living the Gospel and magnifying my Priesthood duties. Yup. That's my dad for ya. I love and respect him, and need to learn how to show that more by my actions.
Besides celebrating my father's day of birth with the goodness of pizza today, I spent some time helping Tyler D design some flyers for the Smithfield YSA Stake activity at City of Rocks coming up next weekend. It is a half decent flyer. One day when I have hours to burn I'll make some kick-butt thing again, but that will be when I'm paid or in class haha. And I went to a campfire, and had some fun singing, being obnoxious, and watching "Life Cycles". Such a good show. Andrew Lillywhite and I are doubling blind tomorrow...should be interesting. Well, guess you'll find out how that is. Oh, and I made a Thank You card for a person on my mind recently. :)
